Accomodation
Participants of the workshop will be housed in Hotel Universitas BBU (str. Plopilor 52-54, Cluj-Napoca) in double rooms.
The cost of the accommodation is 47,5 RON (10 EUR) /night/bed.
For he guest of Hotel Universitas free parking is available next to the hotel.
During the workshop the hotel’s kitchen is closed, thus breakfast is not available.
Conference trip
We have on Wednesday a journey planned to the Turda Gorge (Cheile Turzii), followed by a visit to the Turda Salt Mine.
The expected expenses for the trip are approximately 60 RON / 12 EUR, which covers the entrance tickets, along with the transportation costs (anticipated at 25 RON / 5 EUR per person). Additionally, there will be meal expenses to consider.
Travel to Cluj-Napoca
- by plane: Cluj-Napoca has a international airport with direct flight to numerous European cities.
- by car: Upon prior notice the organizers can arrange car parking.
- by train: Cluj-Napoca has rail connections with every major city in Romania and the rest of Europe. The main railway station is placed near the center of Cluj-Napoca, From western Europe Cluj-Napoca can be reached easiest via Vienna and Budapest.
Getting around in Cluj-Napoca
Cluj-Napoca has a good public transport network. Tickets may be purchased directly on the bus, tram or trolleybus using a credit card or prior to the travel prom automatic ticket dispensing machines. For more information see here.
